Penn-Trafford School District - High School

Harrison City, PA – Massaro CM was hired by the Penn-Trafford School District to provide agency construction management services for renovations to the District’s 275,000 square foot high school. The renovations to the occupied facility will be implemented over a two-year/nine-phase period. Minor site improvements are planned that include a new bus loop and access road, additional parking spaces, improved storm water retention as well as new and improved site lighting. Interior renovations are focused on the replacement of the building’s plumbing, heating, ventilation, air conditioning and electrical systems. Upgrades to the school’s auditorium, cafeteria/kitchen and locker rooms are also planned. New academic spaces will be developed to house Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM) and family science classrooms. Minor renovations are planned for the music program, library and circulation spaces.

"I wish to express my appreciation to everyone at Massaro CM Services who worked on the PSU-HHD project with us. Each of the individual employees that I dealt with gave the sort of extra effort that exhibits personal pride in the work they do."

-Ben Hartzler, President of Mid-State Roofing and Coating, Inc.

"During the school year, our entire building is being renovated in three different phases and two of those phases are occurring while students are in the building. To this point there has been little disruption to our learning environment given the scope of the work. The two on-site managers are professional, productive, and able to answer my questions as the project moves along. Massaro has my recommendation for this type of work in the future."

-Robert Scherrer, Ed. D., Principal at Pittsburgh Science and Technology Academy
