Plum Borough Municipal Center Phase I

Plum, PA – Utilizing the services of Massaro CM, the Borough of Plum is constructing a new public works building and related facilities. This project is Phase I of a potential multi-phase project that could include a new municipal facility, community center and various recreational components.

Phase I includes site infrastructure for the entire 110-acre site including 300,000 cubic yards of earth moving, a 3,500 linear foot public road, ample parking, sanitary sewers, public water, storm water management systems and control measures, electric, phone, cable and gas. The project will include the construction of a 21,000 square foot public works building, 8,600 square foot salt storage building, multiple machinery buildings and a large materials storage area.

In addition to the above work, a borough-wide storm water improvement project focuses on five main projects throughout the borough. This project is expected to alleviate 70% of the Borough’s storm water management issues.

"I wish to express my appreciation to everyone at Massaro CM Services who worked on the PSU-HHD project with us. Each of the individual employees that I dealt with gave the sort of extra effort that exhibits personal pride in the work they do."

-Ben Hartzler, President of Mid-State Roofing and Coating, Inc.

"During the school year, our entire building is being renovated in three different phases and two of those phases are occurring while students are in the building. To this point there has been little disruption to our learning environment given the scope of the work. The two on-site managers are professional, productive, and able to answer my questions as the project moves along. Massaro has my recommendation for this type of work in the future."
